This is to confirm that Silk Highway is well underway. I am in Mongolia at the moment, promoting the project among art practitioners, curators, educators of Mongolia by all possible means.
I have had a discussion with an art group called New Century Art, which includes over 25 members. Their art current practices are quite diverse starting from painting to installation. Please check out this link, there are some works of artists: http://www.newcentury-art.mn/

Currently, I am trying to get in touch with the second major contemporary art group Khukh Naran (eng. blue sun), encourage artists to get involved in the project.
In addition, I have had several meetings with major art organisations in Mongolia; Arts Council of Mongolia, Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery and The Institute of Fine Art (IFA).
Any interested artist can pick up submission form and other particulars from any of these organisations mentioned above, or contact me via email or mobile phone to receive more information. Please ask for following people, who has the information pack:
-B. Dorjgotov, artist and curator at Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery
-Kh. Oyundari, artist development program coordinator & accountant at Arts Council of Mongolia
-B. Ganbat, Head of Undergraduate Studies at Institute of Fine Arts
Also I’ve been invited to discuss about the project at Unuudur (eng. today), the biggest daily newspaper in Mongolia. Hopefully, the interview will be printed in few days time.
Kind regards
