- First online art project included artists from Mongolia

- First online art project run in English and in Mongolian

- Included artists at their different stages of their art careers.

- During the process of running of the project, an excess of 15.000 words have been
translated (Mongolian-English-Mongolian-English)

- The project run on a free blog host website called www.blogger.com

This message is for people who've been following the project blog for last couple of months.

The project has experienced number of changes recently which affected the whole operation of SILK HIGHWAY and MONUK.

As a Project Manager and a Co-Curator, I take the full responsibility for causing an inconvenience for all of you. Due to personal reason, I am putting hold on all other projects I am involved including MONUK (SILKHIGHWAY) for one year from now on.

From time to time, I will be keeping in touch with artists because the project is still alive. We have seen very engaging ideas and works produced as a result of our communication, I am keen to pursue those threads once I have enough time to work on.

Lisa Stansbie is stepping down as a Co-Curator of the SILK HIGHWAY as her other commitments were preventing her to spend time on the project and it was her wish to withdraw.

Thanks very much for your involvement and I hope you will be with the project in one year time.
